If a container is glowing gold, red, or purple, it’s even more worth the effort, as that means there’s “superb loot” hidden inside. As well as gear, you’ll find add-ons for your gear, and weapons parts to craft new swords, axes, hammers, rifles and shotguns. More importantly, though, you’ll find gear – tons of the stuff. You’ll find consumables everywhere, from medkits to Adrenaline boosters and ammo modifiers. You’ll need to break into every box, cupboard, car boot and crate you see. For example,if you want the glider, he’s your man. He’s usually a fair distance away, and if you lose sight of him or don’t get to him in time, he’ll vanish for a while and turn up later.Ĭatch him if you can, for he is the key to unlocking old memories an permanent upgrades for your Automaton. Most RPG veterans will soon have a character that can easily survive most of what the game throws at them. Both of these are critical to taking down the Porky Puff and will make the second phase of battle much less challenging.Biomutant, from Experiment 101, isn’t a particularly hard game at brass tacks. If you're having trouble with this phase of the fight, it's best to head back out into the world and find some better guns or upgrade your Psi-Powers. Meanwhile, ranged players will find the battle to be a cakewalk. Getting up close to the beast isn't an easy task. If you're a melee-based class, the Porky Puff fight will probably be incredibly difficult. Doing this will limit its available attack options – although you'll still need to be on the lookout for flying rocks and sweeping arms. Make it a priority to stay behind the Porky Puff and about 15 feet away from its base. The Porky Puff has a variety of deadly attacks on land, but most of them can be entirely avoided by always staying behind them. You'll now have access to all your weapons and Psi-Powers, although this portion of the boss battle is arguably more difficult than anything else you've encountered so far. About halfway through your battle, the Porky Puff will lead you away from the water and turn the fight into a regular shootout.
